We held an open day and blessing ceremony on 11 September, with a karakia performed by Dr Te Maire Tau, the local Tuahiwi (Ngāi Tahu iwi) leader. This was a special moment for us all. We were delighted to be joined by guests including Waimakariri District councillors and the Mayor, Dan Gordon.
